Our community was formed in 2001 when we saw a need for patient-to-patient support for Graves' disease patients. The bulletin board for our community is located at http://www.mediboard.com/forums. Feel free to join us for discussions regarding Graves' disease and support for fellow patients and their families.
[edit] About MedShelf.org
MedShelf.org is part of a research project conducted by students and faculty at the University of Michigan. The goal of the project is to help online medical support groups effectively use a wiki to collaboratively create useful resources. It includes content provided by members of several participating online medical support groups that is not reviewed by medical professionals (see Disclaimer).

The research project is conducted by Derek Hansen, Paul Resnick, and Sean Munson of the University of Michigan's School of Information. All contributions to MedShelf.org will be analyzed by the research team as part of the project. In addition, we will contact some contributors for voluntary interviews. The rights and privacy of individual members will be respected throughout. In conjunction with the University of Michigan's Institutional Review Board we have developed ethical guidelines to ensure your protection. Details of the study goals and the ethical procedures we are following are provided at this link.
