Hi, I am testing out the bold feature. Here are what italics look like.
Look, when I make several headers it creates a table of contents automatically.
Contents |
[edit] Header 1
Graves' Disease blah, blah BLAH BLAH
[edit] Header 2
Other Causes of Hyperthyroidism blah, blah Doris 14:47, 11 March 2007 (PDT)
[edit] Header 3
Diagnosis lets try some subheaders --Doris 14:47, 11 March 2007 (PDT)
[edit] Subheader
Symptoms that wasn't so bad
[edit] Another Subheader
one more for the road
[edit] Anchors (aka bookmarks in other markup parlance)
Must see this in EDIT
Below is the name given the anchor. You can only see it in edit as it is invisible.
<span id="testing_anchor"></span>
How to hyperlink to an anchor: No title Sandbox#testing_anchor or With title using pipe link testing anchor
Derek - You need to use a Help:Piped link. Here is an example: Sandbox#testing_anchor and any text I want both take me to the testing_anchor link on this page (see the edit version).
From Val(Armadillo) - The hyperlink would look like this: (brackets) nameofpage#nameofanchor|hyperlink_text (closed brackets)
[edit] Working with Tables
I haven't yet figured out how to force the table and cell sizes. A long line of text won't wrap automatically without these forced parameters. Therefore, one has to do line spacing within a table by holding down both shift and enter.
Example of table
| Pro's | Con's |
| Lowers antibody levels which address
the root cause of the disease | Rare adverse reactions possible such as
agranulocytosis, drug induced lupus or liver problems |
| Preserves thyroid gland | Requires regular blood testing |
| Avoids ingesting radiation and radiation
exposure to family and friends | |
| Avoids surgery |
cool, when i type in 4 "~" in a row it puts in my username and the date: DerekHansen 13:48, 12 February 2007 (PST)
I will try an edit of this page. It still looks wrong on my screen but after I "save page" it looks as if the edit is fine. I cannot read everything on my page during the edit, but after I save the page is as I would like.
